AVSAB is committed to improving the quality of life of all animals and strengthening the bond between animals and their owners. Regular membership is open to graduates of colleges and schools of Veterinary Medicine and affiliate membership is open to individuals with a doctoral (PhD) degree in animal behavior or a related discipline from an accredited college or university
As a member of AVSAB, you will join a network of colleagues working with many species including domestic animals, zoo animals, exotic pets, wildlife, livestock, and laboratory animals. AVSAB members work in private practices at teaching hospitals, research facilities, zoos, and humane organizations.

Exclusive Listserv access providing the opportunity to network and exchange information with veterinarians, veterinary students, veterinary behaviorists, and applied animal behaviorists in an open forum.

| How to Register |

Regular/Affiliate membership: Please print out a Membership Application form and mail it in with check for $50 or go to the online form

AVMA Member Trial Membership: For a free, 6-month trial membership for AVMA members, print out a Trial Membership Application form and mail it in or use our online form by clicking on the "Membership Application and Renewal" link at the top part of the page. After 6 months, you will be asked if you wish to continue, at which time your annual dues will be requested.
