Student Chapter Service Award The American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior is inviting submission of applications for a Student Chapter Service Award. This award will honor the student chapter that demonstrated the highest number of club meetings, educational activities, and individual involvement. The winning entry receives a cash award of $500. AVSAB student chapters should submit a detailed list of activities that the club and / or its members organized and attended between July 1 2010 and June 1 2011, including the following categories:
The application must include the name and address of the chapter president and faculty adviser. Students: consider joining the AVSAB Yahoo Electronic Listserv. This electronic bulletin board will allow individual students and Student Chapters to exchange ideas in what types of animal behavior related activities you or your chapter can consider. You can also excahnge questions and concerns in dealing with behavior related issues or in running a student chapter. Just go to the Veterinary Student Menu of the AVSAB web site and click on the Student Chapter Listserv (Yahoo) Link. You will be taken to the home page to begin the process of joining the group.
