A memorable senior trip.
There was one most memorable part of my senior year and that was the senior trip. The senior trip was originally supposed to be in Florida, but we waited pass due to pay for the trip, so we decided to go to Atlanta. The senior trip was May eleventh through the fifteenth. The fun began the moment we departed at midnight on the eleventh. When we arrived, we visited Six Flags, Stone Mountain Park, and the Cumberland Mall.
First, my classmates and I visited Six Flags. There were tons of fun, rides, games, and food. The first thing my best friend, Sharkelia and I went to was the gift shop. There were plenty of fantastic things that we could buy. I spent plenty of money in the store on souvenirs. My friend and I then started walking to explore the theme park. Sharkelia said, “The first ride we shall see, no matter how scary it is, we was going ...view middle of the document...
My classmates and I was very excited to see the mountains. First thing we did when we arrived was take plenty pictures of the carvings and as a class by the different kinds of mountains. Later that day, we ate lunch at Stone Mountain Park. As we sat eating, I recall thinking, “These will be the moments we will cherish and remember the most.” We laughed and talked for hours like there was no tomorrow. As darkness approached, we headed back to the hotel, where we were staying, to get a good night’s rest because we had a long day ahead of us the next day.
On the third day of our fun adventure, we went to the Cumberland Mall. My classmates and I was all excited to go shopping and hoping we see just one celebrity. Sharkelia and I went shopping in the same stores. We both bought plenty of shirts, pants, heels, sandals, and accessories. As we were walking to our next favorite clothing store, the most shocking thing happened to us. My friends and I saw Diamond, a rapper from the group named Crime Mob. I was so excited to finally meet a celebrity in person. So I asked nervously, “Can I have a picture with you?” She replied, “Sure you can sweetie.” I could not believe I was actually about to take a picture with Diamond. She was in fact shopping with her mother for mother’s day. I was so eager that I called my mother shouting, “Mom, I just saw a celebrity, I would never forget this moment!” Later, we left to go have dinner together one last time before we depart Atlanta. My classmates and I ate at Varsity. As we were leaving the restaurant, we all stop to help a homeless person who asked for some of our food.
The last day was finally here; we all packed our things and placed them on the bus. Before we left the hotel, we all sat down to have breakfast together. After we finished, we got on the bus and waved goodbye to Atlanta. We laughed, danced, and took pictures for our senior book all the way back to our destination. When we arrived back to our school, we all were looking rough because our senior prom was two days away. I would not change anything about my classmates and if I ever had the chance to do it all again, I would. Overall, we really enjoyed our senior trip.
