ABC Inc.: Case Study
In this case analysis essay; I will cover some major issues found in the recruiting procedures made by Carl Robins. Carl’s lack of training when he started as the new recruiter for ABC Inc. showed when he was unable to accomplish the job successfully.

He also noticed that none of the trainees went to the clinic for the monitor drug screening. To make matters worse, he noticed that he only had three orientation manuals and out of those three some pages missing out of them. This did not set well with him. So he decided to go check on the room where the training would take place to see if any of there was any more manuals in there. When he arrived he noticed that Joe, from technology services, setting up computers for training. Joe informed Carl that his training would be conducted during his scheduled training for the new hires. Two major issues are at hand for Carl, missing paperwork and new hire training scheduled the same time as the training for technology services in the training room.
Three problems are readily apparent; employee applications are incomplete or missing data, three training manuals are currently on hand with 15 needed and the training room is reserved for the month of June. Without further investigation, root-cause analysis is mere speculation. Based on the facts presented in the case study, this author has determined several root-cause factors, which may have contributed to this calamity. These root causes stem from two sources, Carl Robins and ABC, Inc.
Could Carl have over stated his qualifications on his job resume in order getting this position? He might not have received all information for the duties as it pertained to the position of campus recruiter, or maybe he did not understand what all need to be done.
