Until they are 18, they know that the government claims that they are not responsible for their own actions. By law, if you are 10 years old or younger, you are pardoned from all charges. Any minor from 10 to 14 years canonly get 6 months of imprisonment. If you are 14 to 16 years old, you can only get up to half the sentence that a convicted adult could get from committing the same crime. Any child may also not be handcuffed or put with adult criminals. These facts prove that it is absurd that these violent juveniles are not getting the punishment that they deserve. In conclusion, if you do not want tobe a violent young criminal's next target, you will agree that putting these dangerous people in a jail is the best decision for our country to make.
