The main picture in the Smirnoff advertisement is of the big bottle in a sad, dark room at one of the upper stairs of an apartment building. Inside the big bottle there are colorful balloons, drinks, and cookies. This advertisement is trying to make the people believe that when they have Smirnoff at home, everything is going to change, and the sad environment of the house is going to change to a cheerful party, and this drink is going to bring happiness for the people. This advertisement appeal to the need for affiliation and attention, because if people buy "Smirnoff", they would not be alone anymore, and their quite, sad home is gong to change to a joyful party.The "Tanqueray" ...view middle of the document...

It used bright color for inside of the bottle to make the people believes that, when you have Smirnoff at home, you have happiness. The colors used in Tonqueray advertisement are mostly black and green. Whereas the bottle is green, using the green color for the background cannot play an important role to motivate customer to buy this product.`Advertisements have to create a strong image of their product, it mean that they will link advertisements in a customer's mind with the type of persons that they think their customers are. The Smirnoff advertisement tried to create a natural image with using appropriate colors and suggesting excitement and fun. This advertisement makes a right and strong image for its product by showing warmness inside the bottle. Having fun and excitement is what motivate the customers to buy this product The Tanqueray advertisement uses some melted ice around the bottle to make an image of a cold drink. However; that this image can stimulate costumer to buy this drink and enjoy of drinkingit in the hot weather, this image is not strong enough to keep the customers for the whole year.Creativity is playing an important role in the success of an advertisement.
