Analyzing Messages
Communication is the key to success of business. Technology has expended over the past ten years. Companies use various ways to communicate. Communication through networks seems to be the most common trend. Communication trends have evolved to email, cell phones, PDA’s instant messages, pages, telecommuting and facsimile. The most technical trend used is email.

The medium can distort the message positively or negatively, so the sender must choose the best medium for assuring effective communications (Deborah Britt Roebuck, 2006).

Technology is made up of encoding and presentation tools, channels, or data networks appropriate to that technology.

Noise, which is anything that reduces the likelihood of the message being, interpreted the way the sender intended.

Feedback reports back to the sender that the receiver (the decoder) received and understood the message. When the receiver responds to the sender, the communication process starts over.
