Introduction: We must begin to manage the church in a manner to build the kingdom of God.
I. Why are people leaving the church?
A. Lack of teaching (Matthew 28:20)
B. Lack of assembling in prayer (Matthew 21:13)
C. No real growth in the word (1 Peter 2:2)
a. many know the word, but do not know how to apply it to their every day life.
II. Does the church invest in the people?
A. Where is our focus, the building or the people?
B. People need to see the goodness of God through action (James 2:14-17)
C. There is a need for both spiritual and academic education (Hosea 4:6)
a. We need to ensure that our people are empowered in spiritual and academic knowledge
III. Managing the Church in a biblical way.

Are leaders being effective in overseeing the Church
A. Do we have a vision? And have we made it plain? (Proverbs 29:18; Habakkuk 2:2-3)
B. Are we being effective leaders and managers of the Church (Luke 12:42; 16:2-3)
C. When we look at growth, are we looking at numbers or spiritual maturity? (Hebrews 5:12-14)
Conclusion: In this dispensation we as Christian leader have to be in constant prayer in order to effectively lead the people of God. Too Many people are leaving the church due to the fact that they come looking for help and never seem to get any help. The Church was designed to place of giving and without the proper teaching and managing of it; it will turn people away as we seem to be doing at this present time. People have been taught the word of God, but to often they or never taught how to apply it outside of church, people that know the word wants to apply it and see a fruitful return and it our jobs as leaders to teach them the principles of God.

All typing errors are corrected.
