Part III

Answer each question in 100 to 150 words related to those stereotypes:

• What are the positive aspects of the stereotypes, if any?
There are no positive aspects of stereotyping what so ever. Stereotyping are just negative rumors that becomes a prejudice comment in the end, either you meant to or not. Close-minded people I believe starts this type of talks then other close-minded people start believing them. Stereotyping are just things people say about others so that they can make themselves feel or look better. Due to stereotyping people that are willing or want to interact with other races or just new things in general, wouldn't want to end up doing it because of this ridiculous "rumor" that people starts. I really feel bad, because the people that we profile and say hateful things against are not what we all make them to be. At the end of the day, yes they do bad things and make bad decisions is because we push them to do so by stereotyping them.

• What are the negative aspects of stereotypes?

The negative aspects of stereotyping are indefinite. There are so many negativity about it. Due to stereotyping innocent people are killed. Young men and women get harassed and people who are qualified for the job does not get it due to unreliable statements. For example that young boy who was shot because he was using a black, using a hoody jacket and he was at the wrong place at the wrong time. A young boy gets shoot because of stereotyping! What a shame! Stereotyping people always and will lead to prejudism. It holds back so much people to go forth to do new things or try new things.

Answer each question in 150 to 250 words related to those stereotypes:

• What is the difference between stereotyping and prejudice? Use examples to illustrate the differences.

Stereotyping- Is pre-judgment against something or someone. It is something that you assume of a person’s characteristics. A rumor is what I think it is. Stereotyping is just a rumor started by unopened minded people. Stereotyping is just unreliable statement, not proven that it has any truth to it.
For example:
• Blonde girls are dumb and clumsy.
• All Muslims are terrorists.
• All Goth worship the devil.
• If you wear short shorts and short skirt, you are a slut.

Prejudice- Is discrimination against anything, racism ageism etc. It is discrimination against people that...
