Welcome,A healthy, secure and safe environmentis paramount for me.The children and infants are growing in a world full of dangers that we, as adults, have learnt to live with. We need to teach the children and infants to look for the danger in order to make sure that they don't get hurt. Every activity involve some risks small or big and it is by taking some properly supervised risks that the children can gain more confidence. By exploring and being challenged, the children will grow up and develop new skills. For example climbing a toboggan or going through a tunnel will be challenging tasks for a toddler and they will develop the co-ordination of their legs and hands. There is three types of supervision:- Constant supervision, I will always be next to the children to see and listen to them for example, painting activities with toddlers. I will make sure they don't eat the brush. - Close supervision, I let the child play on their own but I close enough to intervene if the child is going to hurt himself, for example, if we go outside to the park and the child is playing on the playground,- General supervision, I am fully knowledgeable about the activities the kids are playing and I watch them regularly.
