Misunderstanding #1 – Sample Claim Instructions vs. Provider Billing
Who was the sender? The sender of the misunderstanding was the Credentialing Department manager.

This is now a standard process for any rule that has been changed regarding intake of contract submissions. This meeting requires all employees involved to be present, the person presenting the rule exception provides several visual examples, a written explanation of the change, and accepts any and all questions after the presentation. This way all employees are able to understand all angles of the exception to the rule.
Misunderstanding #2 –
Who was the sender? The sender of the message was a Network Development Representative, a co-worker.
Who was the receiver? The receiver was the Lead Network Development Representative, a co-worker.
What was the message? The message was that a data spreadsheet that the Network Development Representative had created had been thoroughly checked and was ready to send to the mailroom, so contract packets could be sent out to each person on the spreadsheet.
What channel was used to send the message? The channel was a face to face discussion.
