A cell is like a city because of the many authorities that run the city and the important jobs they have to keep the city intact. I will compare the; nucleus, non/polar head/tail, Golgi Apparatus, Ribosome, Mitochondria, Lysosomes, Cytoplasm, Endoplasmic Reticulum.

In a cell, the nucleus is like the city government because its like the control center. The city government is compared because they control everything that happens in the city such as; laws, courts, construction, and ect. The nucleus is like the brain of the cell.The nucleus is called the control center because-the cell which lac nucleus during abnormal cell division known to be dead cell. Also, the nucleus controls the food that is transported in and out of the cell.

In a cell, the Ribosome is like the Industrial Par/Businesses because its used to construct and DNA in Amino Acids. Their job is to assemble amino acids into proteins under the direction of the cell's DNA. Its almost like constructing a building, but not as big.

In a cell, Mitochondria is like the Technology Center because it provides cell energy, just like a Technology Center would provide technology energy. The membranes of mitochondria both separate them from the cytoplasm and divide the inside into leaflets. Mitochondria are where the cell's energy is made.  Thus mitochondria are sometimes called the cell's powerhouse.

In a cell, the Lysosomes are like Water Treatment/Warehouses because it starts out old and gets replaced for the new all the time, just like replacing an old warehouse and creating a new one, or filtering old water to new clean water.

In a cell, Cytoplasm is like Sewer Facilities because its like salt water with a ton of waste products dumped into it. Organelles are suspended in the cytoplasm and the cell membrane separates the cytoplasm from the outside of the cell. The cytoplasm is gel-like (like Jello).

In a cell, the Vacuole is like a police department because they can even store waste products so the rest of the cell is protected from contamination. Eventually, those waste products would be sent out of the cell. This is compared because its like a police department because they can put criminals in jail cells and it protects the other people from getting hurt and eventually these criminals would be sent out of the area.

In a cell, the Endoplasmic Reticulum is like the Street Department, this is because its like a network of connecting membrane tubes. This is like streets because every street connects in some way because of the street departments.

In conclusion, a cell is compared to the main departments and authorities in a city. Such as; nucleus, non/polar head/tail, Golgi Apparatus, Ribosome, Mitochondria, Lysosomes, Cytoplasm, Vacuole, Endoplasmic Reticulum. Its all connected somehow.
