The office usually has a quiet, calm atmosphere but on this day everything changed. As Miss Duprey left the office she headed over to her desk to spy. To her dismay, Miss Lila found cheques, schedules and other documents that went missing for the past three months of the financial year. Miss Lila then became more determined to get her name cleared. After she found the missing documents she called Mister Manning to show him that Miss Duprey was at fault not her. Miss Lila demanded to have a meeting with Mister Manning to deal with the issue before future problems came up.
After a hour, Miss Duprey came back into the office absent minded as usual, only to notice after five minutes that her desk was ransacked. In the distance you, Miss Lila and Mister Manning’s voices could be heard arguing about something. On entering Mister Manning’s office Miss Lila immediately confronted Miss Duprey about all the documents that were found on her desk hidden away under papers. When asked about it by Mister Manning, Miss Duprey’s response was that she didn’t know how it reached onto her desk. Miss Duprey continued her day as usual with no care or concern.
After a few days passed, Miss Duprey started to become more aware that something was wrong with her. It was on a Thursday Miss Duprey had a revelation.
