In today society there are many osbastels and problems that affected the clients in human services environment which continue to grow daily, because of the lack of funding, advocating, resources and education. There also issues/problems in the human services world that effected clients because of culture stigma, homelessness, poverty and the fear of asking for help which effects thousands of immigrants in the United States today. They’re not ready to stop using drugs or drinking alcohol. They have issues/problems surrounding them with being placed into inpatient rehabilitation faculties because their freedom will be taken away from them for a period of time. Many people with addictions issues/problems see no way out but to continue abusing substance or alcohol because that’s their copping mechanism to deal with everyday life issues. Additions have become a major concern and issues in the human services world and many are at a lost what of can they do for the clients if they’re not willing to stop destruction of their life.
There are also the individuals with a criminal background or records that have been in jail or prison for long periods of time who face the challenges of being re-entering into the main of society, their stigma of having criminal record, and being accepted by their family or society. Their difficulties range from a lack of education, lack of job skill or experience, and maybe the lack of know how to properly communicate with other’s in society. They face issues/problems with finding housing, employment due the requirement of getting housing and jobs which mean running a criminal background on everyone and for some even a drug screen. There is another population of individuals with physical disabilities which have issues/problems in the human services world. Their challenges are being able to have use of their legs, arms and even their eye sight. Some individuals have to use a wheel chair, walker for mobility’s. Other has to utilize seeing animals, breathing machine, or even simple medicine which can be issues when trying function in much society normally. They also face challenge of finding a job, finding proper rehabilitation se4vices, finding personal care services and getting help with daily living activities.
There is the client in the human services world who are dealing with mental health issues which causes them to have difficulties finding appropriate resources to assist them with their mental health issues/problems. Their abilities to stay focus toward maintain their mental health treatment, staying complaint with taking their medications and seeking correct resources in the mental health agencies.
