Club IT is a dream that came to life for Ruben Keys and Lisa Tejada, owners of the downtown music venue. After graduating from college with their degrees in Business Administration, the two pursued their dream of operating a nightclub. They had both worked as musicians during college, which gave them some knowledge of the way a nightclub operation, were run. Ruben and Lisa are able to combine the business principles they learned in college with the experience working as musicians in nightclubs to manage, operate, and own Club IT successfully.

Second proposal offering free WIFI to customers to accommodate individuals wanting Internet access during the night to post the evenings events. After much review and analysis of the employee portal, I conclude the organizational information system is basic and not equipped with proper security.

For example, every employee has the same password to gain access to the portal. This is truly not very secure, I suggest each employee having his or her own password to gain access. Any employee can make changes to purchases or accounts and there is no way to track what employee made the changes. If every employee logs in the same and no way to log the employee who has made changes exists, gaps in communication will continue to persist. In the portal, employee personal information, ordering information, sales, and budget information can be found. Each employee should not be permitted to view or make any changes to another employee’s information at anytime. Employee time and wages are logged and can be reviewed in the employee portal along with vacation and sick time. Also a proposal for a computer program of scheduling would help with everything to do with scheduling. The ordering tab lists inventory, amount, and supplier information. The sales tab contains sales information by week for each item sold night to night. This information displays how much of each item is sold, which helps determine how much needs to be reordered.
