Human Resources at Huffman Trucking, has a request for the development and installation of a Benefits Elections System for their company. The Benefits Election System will need to support both union and non-union employees, along with tracking and reporting the employee benefits associated with Huffman Trucking Company. Implementing the system will be placed throughout all locations for Huffman Trucking. Huffman Trucking will need to think about security and risks associated with the start-up of the Benefits Elections System.

Access codes, password protection, thumb print analysis are great ways that the company can help to secure the personal private information. The safety of employee and client information must become a top priority.
Information that is stored in Huffman Trucking’s Benefits Elections System is very sensitive due to the nature of the information. The company has the chance of facing law suits if the information is accidently leaked, this could become a huge financial liability for the company and the employees. The possibility of information being leaked is greater with this system but with the right tools and security the risk is preventable. Some of the risks associated with the Benefits Election System including the loss of important company and private employee information, is possible identity theft, and fraud, due to unauthorized access.
