Decision Making Process
The most recent major life decision I have had to make was deciding to relocate from Phoenix Arizona to Northern Virginia in May of 2012. This was a difficult decision to make and required a lot of thought before a final decision was reached. There were several factors occurring in my life at that time which prompted me to think about relocating.

I knew that I could always go to work at the moving company that my brother Mike worked at. I had previously worked at that company for several years. I did not necessarily want to go back into the furniture moving business because I was older and moving furniture is hard, strenuous work but on the other hand it was a paying job that I did not have to search or interview for. My youngest brother Terrance was just finishing his electricians’ apprenticeship and informed me that he might be able to get me hired with his company as well. So now I had two job prospects. If I took the job with the moving company, I knew I would stay with my brother Mike because I could ride to work with him every morning and if I got hired with my brother Terrance doing electrical work, I could stay at his house and ride to work with him. That took care of my employment and living situations if I decided to move. I then checked with my academic advisors at school and was informed that there was a University of Phoenix campus in Northern Virginia. All I had to do was fill out a transfer request and a leave of absence form and wait for approval from the school.
