1.1 Introduction
Communication has always been an integral part in every industry. It binds people and helps build connection for greater understanding, safety and for better service. Some of the airline staffs ask for big tips when assisting handicapped passengers. Wheelchair pushers are also hired from the airlines. In addition, the airports website lacks information concerning the accessibility, services and facilities for the passengers with disability.(2014)
“Aviation, like all other transport modes, needs to recognise and accommodate this growing passenger segment.  The International Civil Aviation Authority (ICAO) – which is a United Nations Specialized Agency – has published a new guide, the Manual on Access to Air Transport by Persons with Disabilities in which they point out that PwDs have the same international rights as other citizens, such as accessibility, and full and effective participation and inclusion in society, including freedom of movement and freedom of choice. (United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, articles 3.c and 3.f). Persons with disabilities should have equivalent access to air travel.” (International Civil Aviation Organization, 2013)
Although the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) provided Annex 9 with provisions for persons with disabilities, however, the question is how does airport facilities as well as airline management’s service caters the needs of the disabled passengers for their travel.

1.1 Statement of the Problem
* What is the demographic profile of the first set of respondents (passengers with reduced mobility) in terms of:
a) Age
b) Gender
c) Disability
* What are the following communication aids and signages used to assist the passengers with reduced mobility in NAIA terminal 3?
* What is the satisfaction level of the passengers in the communication aids and signages used to assist the passengers with reduced mobility in NAIA terminal 3?
* What is the significant difference on the level of effectiveness of communication with passengers with reduced mobility when grouped according to demographics?
* What is the compliance of NAIA to the international standards stated in ICAO Annex 9 in terms of communicating to passengers with reduced mobility?
* Is the current signages and communication aids used by the airline and airport effective to the needs of passengers with reduced mobility?

1.2 Objectives
* The research aims to know the demographic profile of the passengers with reduced mobility respondents.
* To know the communication aids and signages used to assist the passengers with reduced mobility in NAIA Terminal 3.
