Grupo Departamental

Nas Estruturas por Grupos Departamentais, cada membro da empresa desempenha as suas funções autonomamente, competindo ao chefe de secção ou departamento supervisionar e coordenar as actividades. Adequado a empresas onde não é necessário integrar ou coordenar extensivamente as áreas de actuação.

A estrutura por Grupos de Ligação, caracteriza-se na criação de comissões ou de conselhos para tratar de assuntos específicos.

Os elementos mantêm-se activos nas suas funções e, adicionalmente, representam os respectivos departamentos ou secções na comissão ou conselhos.

Adequada a situações onde se deve preservar a autonomia departamental mas onde a coordenação frequente é imprescindível.

Na Estrutura por Unidades de Projecto, os membros terão uma dupla responsabilidade: Desempenhar funções requeridas pelos superiores hierárquicos Participação em projectos específicos de carácter interdepartamental

Faz sentido quando a integração de competências é essencial ao sucesso do empreendimento, mas não se justifica a criação de uma entidade organizacional autónoma para a sua prossecução.

Membros de departamentos diferentes são inseridos numa estrutura autónoma da organização sob a direcção de um líder. A filiação departamental é abolida temporária ou definitivamente.
