If you will look in the graph above (G1), you will notice that ECE has the most number among the five courses that women prefer as their course.
As per the results gathered, the reason why they chose ECE rather than any other engineering courses is because, here at De La Salle Lipa, they have this goal for the ECE majors to maintain a grade of 2.5 (80 – 82) in their major academic subjects. If the students fail to meet the expected grades, it would be required for them to repeat the subject if they are still willing to pursue the program. This results to emerging passing rates of students, higher than the national passing rate of 34.51% in the board exams.
Electronics and Communication Engineer also known as ECE is a 5-year college program which focuses on the conceptualization, design and development of electronic, computer and communication products, systems, services and processes. A graduate from the ECE program who first passed the Electronic Engineering Licensure Examination will be tagged as an Electronics and Communication Engineer.
