What Five women can do while having tea on a hot afternoon is something we will always be aware of? It all started July13, 1848 from here we will see how the Feminist Movement started and how it developed around the world.
In July 1848 a woman was invited to have tea with four of her friends. The women hoped for more meetings to reach every part of the country and that is what happened, meetings were held until the start of the civil war.
These women should be famous and added to our history books â€œElizabeth Cady Stanton, Susan B. Anthony, Matilda Joslyn Gage, and Lucy Stone.â€ (1) They are the â€œpioneer theoreticians of the 19th century womenâ€™s right movement.â€ (1)â€ Esther Morris first women to hold a judicial position she also led the first successful campaign for women suffrage in Wyoming 1869 along with Abigail Scott Duniway another leader of a winning fight in the early 1900â€™s . These are just a few of the women who stood up for their rights as women.
