  In
 my
 three
 years
 of
 attending
 Northern
 Illinois
 University,
 EPFE
 201
 has
  been
 the
 most
 enjoyable,
 inspiring,
 and
 useful
 class
 I
 have
 taken.
 This
 class
  challenged
 me
 to
 think
 differently,
 take
 action,
 and
 open
 my
 mind
 to
 new
 things
 in
  the
 world
 around
 me.
 As
 this
 class
 as
 a
 whole
 had
 a
 great
 impact
 on
 my
 life,
 I
 believe
  the

 The
 anonymous
 questions
 we
 got
 to
 ask
 in
 class
 were
  very
 helpful
 and
 entertaining.
 It
 taught
 me
 to
 respect
 other
 individuals'
 opinions
  and
 questions,
 no
 matter
 how
 absurd
 I
 thought
 them
 to
 be.
 I
 also
 was
 able
 to
 ask
 any
  pressing
 question
 I
 had
 without
 the
 fear
 of
 judgment.
 The
 only
 thing
 that
 upset
 me
  was
 that
 nobody
 seemed
 to
 think
 white
 girls
 walk
 really
 fast
 but
 me.
 J

  The
 walk
 of
 privilege
 was
 something
 that
 really
 impacted
 me.
 I
 believe
 this
  walk
 really
 brought
 some
 things
 to
 the
 light
 that
 many
 people
 didn't
 see.
 At
 the
 end
  of
 this
 walk,
 many
 White
 males
 ended
 up
 in
 the
 front
 of
 the
 group.
 This
 makes
 it
  evident
 that
 they
 have
 an
 upper
 hand
 in
 society.
 More
 generally,
 many
 of
 the
 White
  people,
 male
 and
 female,
 were
 towards
 the
 front
 of
 the
 group.
 This
 brought
 to
 mind
  the
 belief
 that
 white
 privilege
 still
 exists
 in
 today's
 society.
 I
 also
 noticed
 that
 though
  we
 all
 came
 from
 different
 walks
 of
 life
 and
 didn't
 know
 each
 other
 at
 all,
 the
 seven
  black
 students
 in
 class
 all
 ended
 up
 in
 the
 same
 line.
 Towards
 the
 back
 of
 the
 group
  were
 people
 who
 were
 not
 born
 in
 America.
 This
 made
 me
 realize
 that
 just
 being
  born
 in
 America
 gives
 a
 person
 an
 advantage
 in
 life
 that
 they
 may
 not
 know
 they
  have.
 This
 exercise
 made
 me
 appreciate
 all
 of
 the
 things
 that
 I
 have,
 and
 realize
 that
  event
 though
 I'm
 not
 the
 most
 privileged
 person
 in
 the
 world,
 there
 are
 people
 who
  have
 less
 than
 me
 and
 who
 have
 lived
 what
 I
 would
 consider
 a
 harder
 life
 than
 mine.
  Reading
 the
 comic
 books
 wasn't
 entirely
 a
 new
 thing
 for
 me.
 When
 I
 was

 I
