Pollution is a serious problem to the environment. Pollution is the contamination of the environment. Efforts to improve the standard of living for humans have started a very serious problem.

Water pollution is something we should be concerned about because it's a form of pollution that is ruining many lakes, streams, rivers, and ponds. Water supplies are affected, and so are animals and people that rely on the water for drinking or living.
How does water get polluted?
It gets polluted by acid rain, oil spills, litter, insecticide mixing with fertilizers etc.

Many household chemicals and automotive products are extremely toxic both to humans and to other organisms.
6.) Clean up pet waste. Pet waste contains harmful bacteria and other pollutants.
7.) Contain and/or compost yard waste. Yard waste that sits around can easily wash into storm drains when it rains.
8.) Pick up litter and properly dispose of trash. Litter isn't just unsightly; it can also contribute to water pollution.
9.) Avoid using salt to de-ice walkways. In colder climate, salting walkways and driveways is a common practice.
10.) Maintain your septic system.If you have a septic system, have it regularly inspected and maintained.
11.) Maintain a vegetated buffer between your yard and bodies of water.
what is air pollution?
Air pollution is the introduction of chemicals, particulate matter, or biological materials that cause harm or discomfort to humans or other living organisms, or cause damage to the natural environment or built environment, into the atmosphere.
how does a get polluted?
Air pollution is usually a result of human activity. The main causes of human air pollution is frowm cars, aste disposal and industry. However air can also be polluted from natural processes, like volcanic activity which releases various pollutants like sulphur for example. Other natural pollutants include carbon monoxide an dioxide from wildfires, and as the other guy said, radon from radioactive decay within the earths crust.
what can we reduce air pollution? Instead of driving, walk, bike, take public transit, or carpool.
Don't smoke. Smokers are polluting the air.
Turn off lights when you leave the room. The electricity plant likely puts pollution in the air. If you don't use as much electricity, they don't have to make as much.
Same goes with heating/AC. They use power, which is usually made in ways that form air or water pollution. Put on warm clothes instead. Or take them off.
Going in public vehicles instead of private vehicles because in that way polluted air sent out decrease.
Installing electronic air cleaners in houses (costs about $500 - $700).
