Millions of patients with tumor, growth, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, diseases, heart disease, central nervous system conditions use drug administration to reduce their pain. That is the job of a drug manufacturer. As the Communications Coordinator for this national drug manufacturer, I will be using health care communication tools and resources to turn negative public opinion into positive ones. The purpose of this paper is to use healthcare communication strategies to market a better company image and make them aware of our product line.

Therefore, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, which is also known as HIPAA was passed by Congress August 21, 1996. The HIPAA the rules and regulation training on the role is plays in the health care industry. Patient privacy rights are important to HIPAA policies operation. Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act gave me insight on how to use this information, the policies and penalties. However, the HIPAA privacy rule helps provide federal protections for the individually identifiable health information that is being held by covered entities and their business associates, and it also gives the patients an array of rights with respect to that information. At the same time, the Privacy Rule is balanced so that it permits the disclosure of health information needed for patient care and other important purposes.
Today many types of social media communication methods are used to send to the receiver or public critical news reports of important. The social media such as television, radio and bloggers can help alter personal views negatively and positively; however, the major challenge is the message from the sender must Compliance with HIPAA guidelines and regulations. Communication tools like face to face are informal and the message being send can get lost in the wording. Written communication maintains a sound official way of sending to the receiver critical information but these measures take time. Newspapers and magazines give specific detailed so particular attention must be made to review the information.
Per Capstan public policy polling survey, stated that less than 85% of the poll do not social media or instant messaging channels to send or receive medical communication from their doctors. Most patients still prefer to use traditional electronic lines of communication, such as email and website interactions, when it comes to specific health care concerns, the doctor voice is better. Social media has a sound and profound growing role when it comes to healthcare communications among fellow communities of patients; however, it is not the communication method of delivering when Americans want to review medical issues with their doctors. There are different attitudes among different demographic groups when it comes to social media communication. Hispanics said they were more relaxed interrelating with their doctors online: about 90% are willing to take advantage of health care email contact if their doctors offered it; about 90% stated they were will set appointments online; about 80% were willing in participating in online bill payment; and 90% would call a nurse help line when medical information is needed.
