1.0 Introduction:

The process of valuing and developing people at work is known as the human resource management (Rothwell et al., 2012). The main three aspects of the human resource management are to select, recruit and develop the human resources. Through the human resource management the organization can make a good relationship with the collective bargaining agreement (CBA) and other labour unions. Previously consolidation, globalization, technological development etc. are the main work of human resource management. Now from the recruitment to cessation of the employees all work are done under the monitoring of the human resource management (HRM) (Rothwell et al., 2012) .The Harrods is one of the largest brands in the United Kingdom which operates its performance through managing 330 departments and maintaining the 4000 employees as well as 3500 agencies. So for this Harrods Human resource management is one of the vital issues since this company considers the employees as essential element. This study starts with the difference between the personal management and human resource management, then it shows the selection and recruitment process of the Harrods, the motivational activities and at last it disclose the cassation of the employments.
