Re: Implementation of New Companywide Compliance System and Policies
Since Riordan Manufacturing is showing such quick growing expansion potential and opening new branches worldwide it is imperative that we institute a new companywide compliance system. With that new compliance system new policies will also be introduced. It is imperative that all senior management and department heads are thoroughly trained in the new system and policies in order to properly train their staff. This project and the training it encompasses will henceforth be referred to as Icarus Project.
While the Icarus Project will impact all employees companywide its main focus ...view middle of the document...
The classes regarding the new policies will be a separate entity and will consist of three one hour classes.
Objectives & Scope
Ultimately the Icarus Project will integrate the new compliance system companywide in all branches worldwide. The project will provide qualified teachers who will instruct management staff on the implementation and use of the new system as well as educate them on the new policies that will go hand in hand with the system. The training sessions will take place over the course of 4 weeks with 2 training sessions per week. By spreading out the training sessions this should help to minimize the impact on daily operations. The sessions will take place on the same days at each branch so that the training will be completed at each location at the same time. The sessions will need to be completed by no later than January 31, 2015 so it is important to begin looking for qualified training personnel immediately. A total budget of no more than $100,000 has been set aside for completion of this project.
Value to the Organization
Should the project be completed within the designated time frame and within the set budget the new compliance system will allow for paperless registration. It will also reduce queue time through online access to documents due to a drastic reduction in approval time. The real-time access to changes and a reduction in errors will result in definite money saving. The new system will also be a time save as it will dramatically cut down on the number of phone calls requesting information and reports from various departments because that information will be readily available to all authorized personnel. The integration of the compliance system with current operating systems will allow any authorized personnel from any site worldwide to access necessary documents nearly instantly.
