Spain as an international tourist destination

Spain is located in Southwest Europe and is situated on the borders of Portugal, France, and Andorra. Spain is a beautiful country with its sandy white beaches and fiesta lifestyle.
Spain is ranked as one of the most requested tourist destinations in the world; it has continually been ranked in the top 5 international premier tourist destinations.  Spain’s beaches and fiesta lifestyle has lent itself to dominate, as of 2014 it ranked 3 behind France and USA.
Spain’s economy is recovering from the Eurozone crisis of 2012; Spain’s has shown economic growth between July and September of 2014, with growth for a fifth consecutive quarter. The demand that travelers are placing on Spain as a destination spot has them scrambling to keep up with demand. Construction in housing which is used to house the foreign visitors looking for business, as well as natives trying to enjoy their homeland while vacation. Restaurants, hotels, car rentals, boutiques, and market place are also seeing the demand for new construction, and have adjusted or created new business to satisfy the demand. The transportation industry has flourished also.
So overall Spain has definitely benefitted from tourism, whether domestic or International. One of Spain’s initiatives is to create an atmosphere that will make them an ideal choice for International travelers who will continue to do repeat business.  Real Estate is one of the areas that have grown with the international tourist who are looking to find vacation real estate or to simply retire and enjoy the beauty of Spain. It also is a fun atmosphere, and with its nightlife makes it a great place for young professionals seeking residence or just a vacation spot.
This positive influence will continue to help Spain’s economy and because tourism is seasonal it must provide other ways to stabilize the economy.
