According to Fadun (2014), the expectation of any organization stakeholders is to ensure that an organization maximizes profits to increase their returns. Therefore, it is indubitably clear that the stakeholders expect that any technology innovation in the company is meant to increase the productivity as well as enhance the effectiveness of the organization to generate more revenue. According to smith, stakeholders view any project from a wider scope. This scope focuses on analyzing the innovation in line with cost, efficiency, time and the resources the innovation requires (Mccarty, et al., 2005). This is to ensure that the project is quite does not increase the total cost which may lead to the loss to the company.
Foughtly, the available expertise in the domestic country of the organization should be able to operate the project. In essence, the project should not require manpower that is scarce which may require another cost. It is very important in reducing costs and enabling efficiency in its operation. Fifthly, the project should be competitive in nature. The project should enhance productivity and make the organization competitive in the industry. An organization needs to be competitive to enable increased customer base (Pyrek, 2007). The quality of the project should enable sustainability of the organization the project should be sustainable in the sense that they will enable future existence of the company and productivity.
Measurement of progress is important to determine position of the organization in line to the project presented. On the event that the project has been implemented, the analysis can carry out a survey to determine such issues as standardization and quality of the products. This is also important in effectiveness of the project. Further, it’s also a way of determining whether there is progress in the effectiveness of the operations of the organization. In order to measure the complexity of the project for customers, carrying out survey and asking the customers their view of the project. In particular, a questionnaire with questions about the ease of operation and effectiveness of the technology to them will be important in understanding what needs to be changed in the technology. A previous analysis of the budget required from the introduction of the technology to the final stage of the piloting is importance for the understanding the cost and finding out if the organization can support. This will also lead to the determination of the available resource including manpower for the operation (Fadun, 2014). This can be through finding out the number of people who are willing and able to operate the technology. Finally, determination of the competitive nature of the organization is always determined in the long term. This can also be determined by analyzing if the technology effectively got into the system and got in line with the operations of the organization.
