In Product specification we have prioritized the needs of the customer on five point scale. Target
specifications are done on the basis of customer needs and manufacturing operations. This is also
done on five point scale.
After that description of the Need-Metrics Matrix which gives the relation between needs and
metrics is present ed. Then in the concept generation phase 6 different concepts are prepared. In
the Concept Screening phase after preparing the selection matrix, rating of concept is done, then
ranking, and then combine and improvement of concept is provided followed by co ncept scoring
is done. And then the final concept is prepared.
This Product consists of two components. First: A passive RFID tag to tag important things
which need to be carried. Second: A handheld RFID reader with Bluetooth capabilities to
interact with smart phones. Third: An app for smart phones which will be able to read the
responses of the handheld RFID reader.
The Target Market for this product is Primary market and Secondary Market. Primary Market
will consist of working people, students and businessmen, etc. And Secondary Market will
consist of techno savvy customers.
We did the Concept Testing as well as Economic Analysis of the product.
