Abstract
Character should not just be connected with an individual. It can be found in many businesses today. Everyone has character. Various situations in life have helped build ones character. Character can be compassion, meekness, joyfulness, loyalty or humility. According to Abraham Lincoln, “Our character is much more than just what an individual tries to display for others to see, it is who we are even when no one is watching.” This essay will discuss one Scripture verse that is associated to character and to a Firm having character. The essay will also discuss Scripture within the context of Marketing Management.
Character
What is character? According to Stolorow (2012), Character can be defined as the constant and unique qualities built into an individual’s life, which defines his or her reaction regardless of conditions. Many companies went back to the core values of what the company truly represents. The scripture that was referenced earlier points out the key characteristics that many companies would want their employees to maintain. Marketing does not just involve a particular product. As a business, it is imperative to market to potential employees and through current employees. According to Sonnenberg (2010), Chic-Fil-A is so firm on its religious views that part of its mission statement states: The purpose of Chick-Fil-A is to worship God by being a loyal steward of all that is delivered to us and to have an encouraging impact on all who come in interaction with Chick-Fil-A.
God has instilled us all with numerous characteristics that we may not even recognize we have. Love, patience, loyalty, self-control and faithfulness are all characteristics that have been expressed in the above scripture and also in Chic Fil-A’s core values. Largely, the company’s marketing management team has done a good job of building the company based on the founder’s character. Marketing Management is the presentation, tracking and evaluation of a company's marketing assets and happenings. From a business/firm standpoint, Chick-Fil-A loses millions of dollars each year by closing on Sundays. However, the opportunity to allow employees worship the Lord and build character is worth much more.

Conclusion
In conclusion, it all starts with Faith. Believing in the unseen and truly trusting that God has put one on the right path shows character. Marketing does not just consist of one person or department in a business setting. It involves everyone. Open ones heart and allow the Holy Spirit to come in and help instill characteristics that Jesus Christ himself used on his journey here on earth.
