My Causes of Attending College

College is a very important goal in life to accomplish. Completing college isn’t easy for a lot of people. I wouldn’t say its because lack of intelligence, but for the fact that lot of people have other things that interfere with their lives and keep them side-tracked from maintaining focus. I joined college so that the future ahead of me holds a successful career. Enrollment at Southeastern Illinois College has been a blast for my first year. The college has a nice atmosphere and the people and faculty is great! It all helps with my major, psychology.

In the present time of 2010, luckily there are systems out there that help students financially into college; respecting them education for their future lives. My parents and family are very proud of me and hope I keep up with the good work that I have pushed myself to where I need to get to. If it wasn’t for my parents I wouldn’t be where I am today. They have shown me what leadership, caring, and responsibility has done, and all three of those are skills needed to be a psychologist. I have told my parents that college isn’t the easiest task in the world to complete, but they always tell me, “no matter what you do, don’t give up.” “Don’t give up” are the three words I stick with and continue to work to my fullest to get where I want to be.
Being in college around other students that I have never met before makes college better in my opinion. I would say having a social life in college also can help you with pursuing your career in a positive direction. Meeting new people is an amazing feeling, especially with all the nice people I have already met that is currently enrolled. The positive vibe you get from the people around campus is comfortable and it keeps me going to my classes’ everyday.
