Comes Now the plaintiff, Justin King, complains of defendant, Anheuser-Busch Companies, INC.,
PARTIES AND JURISDICTION
1. Plaintiff, for all times mentioned herein, was and is a resident of County of Paxton, State of Illinois.
2. Plaintiff is informed and thereon alleges that defendant, Anheuser Busch, is a business place primarily operating out of the County of St. Louis, State of Missouri.
This court has jurisdiction over the subject of matter of this action and is pursuant to 28 USC § 1332(a)(2) because the matter in controversy exceeds $ 75,000.
The Venue in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, Eastern Division is proper pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1391 because the acts and events giving rise to the plaintiff’s claim and causes of action occurred in this judicial district, and because the defendant Anheuser-Busch companies INC,.
COUNT I: ________
On or about April 8th, plaintiff Justin King was traveling on his motorcycle south on Interstate 57.
On the occasion in question, defendant, Anheuser- Busch Company INC, was driving while transporting a large load of beer cases in the back of the truck.
The truck was traveling the way Mr. King was traveling on Interstate 57, as the truck driver used his signal so that he was able to pass Mr. King. Mr. King moved to a different lane.
