Kudler Fine Foods is a premiere gourmet grocery store that offers shoppers the finest baked goods, meats, cheese and dairy, produce items and an assortment of domestic and imported wines. Kudler Fine Foods offers all customers a wonderful shopping experience and the finest quality of foods and wines. Leaving room to expand its current services and opening new locations. The company’s growth span is leading to an increased customer base. Kudler Fine Foods is increasing and looking to drive revenue upward while leaving the current prices as set. The questions asked were very detailed in regards to the current location and shopping experience, cleanliness of the store, products sold, prices and staff. This primary research provided the best feedback as the people who were surveyed are current shoppers and therefore provided them with necessary information in turns of customer satisfaction. During the current year survey in 2013 the customer survey suggested that customer was fairly pleased with the customer service received by store employees. Kudlers conducted this research and determined the general feelings of those who shopped at their current locations were pleased . Leaving managers and staff to continue focus on customer support while also been able to drive focus to other areas. Without this type of surveys the company would not be able to get information as to how the customers are feeling. Keeping customers happy equals a loyal customer and gained revenue.
Competitive Intelligence
With Kudler Fine Foods looking to expand its business they must also create a plan in which covers the competitive intelligence. This will create the ability to stay ahead of the many competitors on the market and in the making. According to "The Society Of Competitive Intelligence Professionals " (n.d), competitive intelligence is defined as researching the business environment a firm operates in, in order to influence its emerging strategy for business development. “This is essential to the growth of Kudler Fine Foods. Leaving the owners and managers to collaborate forces to create a strategy of marketing that competes with those of their competitors.
The process of competitive intelligence involves gathering and applying the information received to both long and short term goals. There are several questions Mrs. Kudler would need to ask in order to evaluate and determine who is Kudler Fine Foods competitors, are these competitors in close distance to your location?
