Effective Leadership

Leadership is to guide a group of people to work together to reach goals. But do not confuse to convince and to force. Any manager can force their employees to work, but only a leader can convince them to work for a common good. When it comes to talk about leader, we have to talk about authoritarian leader, participative leader and delegative leader. All have leadership in common, but none seem between them. It means, you need skills and sympathy for dealing with employees, and through continuous communication, to earn their respect. You need to have wit to know how to guide employees to work in groups, wit to know to communicate with them and understand their problems and needs and help them in their working lives to make them more productive for the company (Schneider, K).
Now, it is time to talk about leadership in a company. Well, one thing is to be a leader and another one is to lead a company. A manager can know how to reach their employees or how to make them work together, but does not know how to make them work for the good of the company, does not know how to make them interact with each other, does not have good communication with them. For this reason, there are 3 points that every manager should perform with precision, plus, along with his leadership, take the company to obtain the desired success. First, communication. Every manager must have excellent communication with the employees. So, they will see him, they will respect him and accept him as their leader. Second, establish goals. If no goals are set, there will not be a reason to fight, to do things better day after day and thus to improve the performance. And finally, delegate. If the manager knows how to delegate and to who to delegate, will help him to pull out a big load off him and maintain good performance. For example, you would not say to a maintenance man who charges rent. If you do, he will not know how to do it, is going to make mistakes and poor performance will affect you and affect the company (DiMattia, E.)
At the same time there are 3 types of leaders. Authoritarian leader, who tells his employees what to do and how he wants it done without asking for opinions or advice from his employees. Many people confuse this style of leader to one who just screams and gives orders or insults their employees to earn respect. But this is not really a style of leader. This is simply a rude leader who does not know how to treat their employees. But a leader, is an authoritarian leader only on certain occasions, such as when you are in a hurry and need something right away, or when the leader has the solution in your hands and need to put it into practice at the time.
