Silva suspected that the VP of HR’s speech might trigger a whole new stream of projects in some countries. After the speechs, there would be presentations by Silvaand three other personel directors about what had been done in their countries during the past year, issues encountered and result achived. On the second day, the group would split up, with people going to different workshops. Silva had chosen the workshop on management developement for the morning and pensions plans for the afternon.
