Entertainment is the only way of refreshment. So the way of gaining entertainment is changing over the time. There are some groups who are serving entertainment towards different kind of people. They have taken it as a business purpose and they are gaining profit from their business. But this business of serving entertainment is differing from country to country and culture to culture. The choice of people, cultural value, moral, environment and the overall structural and financial conditions are variable which are liable for these differences.

Radio got popularity in very short time because its programs are always designed according listeners choice. From last decades radio using telephone to give the chance of participation for their listeners. But the needs of an extra device for listening radio reduced the demand of radio towards the young generation. But the facility of listening radio is now included in cell phone and in all sort of vehicles, so radio is getting back it’s popularity once again . and this time people from urban area are also enjoying radio and they have been targeted separately by some radios.
Internet radio (also known as web radio, net radio, streaming radio and e-radio) is an audio listening service transmitted via the Internet. Music streaming on the Internet is usually referred to as webcasting since it is not transmitted broadly through wireless means. Internet radio involves streaming media presenting listeners with a continuous stream of audio that cannot be paused or replayed, much like traditional broadcast media; in this respect, it is distinct from on-demand file serving. Internet radio is also distinct from podcasting, which involves downloading rather than streaming. Many Internet radio services are associated with a corresponding traditional (terrestrial) radio station or radio network. Internet-only radio stations are independent of such associations.
Internet radio services are usually accessible from anywhere in the world—for example, one could listen to an Australian station from Europe or the Americas. Some major networks like Clear Channel in the US and Chrysalis in the UK restrict listening to in country because of music licensing and advertising concerns. Internet radio remains popular among expatriates and listeners with interests that are often not adequately served by local radio stations (such as progressive rock, ambient music, folk music, classical music, and stand-up comedy). Internet radio services offer news, sports, talk, and various genres of music—every format that is available on traditional radio stations.
There are four online radio stations in Bangladesh who have started their journey from last on and half years. They targeted the non residents Bangladeshi people who are living in abroad as their listeners in primary stage. Because of the availability of internet connection in Bangladesh. But after the project “Digital Bangladesh” announces at January 2009, online radios have taken several steps to entertain the people living in Bangladesh.
