While I read this article, thinking in my head for a long time is that it is very hard to change a corporate culture that is diffused throughout the company for a long time and efforts made by a few people are not sufficient. A corporate culture of South African Airways (SAA) appearing in this article refers to the apartheid established for more than 40 years, employee's distrust in management and a separate culture in which employees feel like that they do not belong to the company as one family but the company is completely separated from employees. Now that I have read whole article, today I would like to point out three problems that SAA has.

Many employees have questions on whether the company distributes the profits fairly in aspect of distributive justice and work assignments are given through proper norms. For example, a newspaper empathizes that veteran pilots of SAA are mainly whites and blacks are excluded because of the apartheid policy. These issues let employees think that they do not have equal opportunity. As a result, procedural justice went toward the negative direction. Furthermore, black employees of SAA have always victim mentality and strongly reacted about procedural justice because they did not get high wages.
Finally, I think that the biggest reason why SAA managed the company very difficult is the excessive interference of government, because of the company's employment policy which South African government wants (30% white and 70% black) and the white employees consider as reverse discrimination. Under the situation in which white employees think they are more outstanding and make more contributions to the company than black employees, the employment policy of government makes the white employee feel unreasonable. It is the policy to severely damage Affect-based trust and procedural justice....
