Introduction
 
[The medical field is very important to us all, and when you become the patient in a hospital your mindset changes all together. This paper will be about patient satisfaction while in the hospital. There are major concerns when patients or their family are admitted into the hospital. Hospitals are very concerned with patient satisfaction and the scores that come with it.

When it’s busy and doctors, nurses, or aids are busy and sometimes their good judgment of checking on patients in a timely manner gets over looked. A patient can easily feel forgotten or feel like they are not a priority, and from their patient satisfaction scores start to drop. Communicating with the patients can relieve a lot of anxiety on the patient’s behalf. Informing them of the process allows them to feel they are still in control of the situation at hand. Communication can and will raise patient satisfaction scores, and keep patients returning to your facility.]
 
Food Service
 
[Patient satisfaction lies not only with the doctors, nurses, or aids it lies with non-physician staff as well. One thing that is most important after being cared for is a patient’s diet. Patient satisfaction with food in the hospital was determined by how sick a patient was. The patient relationship between patient satisfaction and negative emotions when dealing with dietary can have a bittersweet relationship. Sometimes when patients are depressed or anxious they have the tendency to have better satisfaction when dealing with staff. They appreciate the time and attention being given to their needs (Dube, L. 1996).
Patients sometimes have the tendency to want to eat things that are not good for them and the doctors feel they should not eat depending on diagnosis. They sometimes feel that dietary is code for buffet or give me what I want. The dieticians come in handy in those types of situations to assist with patient getting proper food and patient satisfaction. Dieticians should develop innovative ways to improve emotional experience of hospitalization and patient satisfaction. The positive relationship between emotions assists to hospitalization and patient satisfaction highlights associated with dietary builds concern on a daily practice (Belanger, M. 1996). Food service is important as a whole. Patients with certain eating habits or have food that they are allergic to has dietary on their toes. Being able to interact with patients can be tough, but rewarding all in one. Time to Go
 
[Patient satisfaction and being discharged from the hospital go hand in hand. This is the opportunity for the patient to see the hospital staff at their best.
