Proof Story: Take Home Quiz
Formulating a Proof Story using the S.T.A.R formula for both (a) a soft skill and obtained at college and (b) a problem encountered at a previous work place.
(A) A soft skills and obtained at college are communication skill, Teamwork and Collaboration, Adaptability, Problem solving, critical thinking, conflict resolution.
For communication skill I started interacting with students share stories with them and listen to them. Handing in assignments with grammarly correct sentences and correct spelling. It might not be the best at least they will understand and know what I'm capable of. When I had an English class in last semester, I have to write reflection of the stories I red in pages long. But I can't say majority of people are like this, I had collaborate with many good individuals on assignment and projects. In school majority of the courses want student to work in group to interact with one and another and also improve our teamwork and collaborating skills. I worked on one assignment with 5 individuals on a same topic, it was really easy and satisfying because everyone was on the same page is a lot easier to communicate and work as a team more effectively.
(b) a problem encountered at a previous work place.
A recent problem I have encountered at my pervious work place was leadership lack of awareness and responsibilities. I recently worked at the Bar for 6 months at first everything was smooth until problems started to appear one at the time. The first problem I encounter was leadership lack of awareness, My bar manager doesn't have clue about city laws and restrictions. One time there was a problem I faced with which bar patio limit was 20 people only, if more than 20 people bar can get a fines and security can lose a job, get fine and license can be suspended. As a Bar manager all he cares was more people more profits, other staffs can deal with other problems. Since I was recently graduated from law enforcement course I know what can harm me and what can't. Other staffs usually let people in over the limits of city restrictions and Whenever I tried to explain and inform them the laws and restrictions they think I'm over doing my job and over reacting or I know it all, they are always against me and we always have conflicts due to leadership lack of responsibilities. The Bar manager doesn't want any responsibilities rather than interacting with guests and making profits. Since the Bar manager only care about profits, he doesn't want to involve or know what kinds of problems staffs are dealing with. Whenever someone address the problem he always said don't worry he will take care of it. Whenever problems appear I always try to take care of it by providing excellent communication and customer service and do what need to be done.
