IT is a human behavior to recognize people according to their nature (Buzzle.com). WE see people as good, bad, happy, depressed, smart dumb, and more. According to Roy Posner, One’s character or personality trait can be grouped into categories of an individual’s attitude, miscellaneous attributes, social endowments, and skills (Posner, 2011). Some key personality traits that define my personality are:
Attitude:
* Accept authority, loyal devoted
* Affectionate
* Considerate and thoughtful
* Courteous, grateful, honest, and persistent
Attributes:
* Adventurous
* Conscious of my weaknesses
* Creative, detailed-oriented
* Systematic, and seeks improvement
Social endowment:
* Indifferent, hostile family upbringing
* Poor mental abilities in family
* Previous success in school, work, and family life.
Skills:
* Communication skills
* Leadership skills
* Organization skills
* Teamwork and time management skill
In addition to these I consider myself to be somewhat of both introverted intuition and extroverted feeling. An extroverted intuition means that I tend to focus on objects outside the body by noticing what could be or what was a possibility, patterns, and inherent meaning in an object. An extroverted feeling is also focusing on objects outside of the body, valuing the item, feeling approaches reality by giving objects subjective worth or values. I tend to judge objects based on likes and dislikes (Fiala, 2009).
The key concepts that define my personality are important. My personality also consists of depression, anxiety, and stress. I experience all of these at different times in my life and it depends on the particular situation. Some of these concepts have affected me periodically since I was a young child and have continued into my adult life. Nevertheless, my personality demonstrates that I struggle at times and have a hard time dealing with issues that I experience. I do find positive ways to cope and manage to help my situation.
Are your personality feature consistent or do they change according to the situation?
My personality changes depending on the situation. For example, I have a hard time tolerating stupid people. One time there were several people over and we were in the garage. One of the adults was going to go outside through the garage door. The individual was told several time to use the man door and if he was reminded told he would. However, he opened the garage door and was told that if he let go it would slam to the ground. That is exactly what this person did. I was furious. When this person came back into the garage he became well aware of the situation. I am normally a clam and likable person until someone or something to make me angry. Another example that represents my traits is my upbringing. I had a poor childhood but I have learned much about myself because of it. I know how to treat my children and know what not to do because I have experienced a...
