The way that I would manage my stress would be in many ways. When I have too many problems with whatever is is I have problems with that get me stressed out, I do a lot of different types of steps to see which one works for me. I would identify the problem and address as well. The way I would do that would be by seeking advice from a family member and learn from their experience on how to better handle my situation or my problems. Another way that I would try to take care of my problem or stress would be by taking a big assignment and to make lists or time lines. I would either be at work on a slow day ...view middle of the document...

I am also going to stressing about this snow we keep getting because I know it wont stop for a while. I know I waste some of my energy when I take things personally that really have nothing to do with me. I am going to learn this lesson by remembering a time I did this and by choosing not to repeat that mistake.

I will do something that makes my body work hard at least twenty minutes every other day, and increase it little by little. I know strong bodies help people better deal with stress, and this will keep me in shape. The kinds of the things I like to do include playing volleyball, dancing, and swimming. I can commit to twenty or thirty minutes of exercise a day. If I have trouble focusing in school, I will try exercising before school work for about twenty minutes to see if it helps me concentrate better. I know tat a really hard physical workout will help me calm down when I am feeling most worried, stressed, or scared. This is especially true when I cant concentrate on my homework because it feels like too much. The kinds of things I might do might be just stop whatever I'm doing and go for a twenty minute swim and come back to whatever I was having trouble with , with a clearer mind.

I will teach my body to relax by using exercise that controls the body and releases tension like Tai Chi or boxing. I cn try deep breathing to try and teach my body to relax. I can also try yoga and meditation. Another thing I can try would be a nice warm bubble bath or shower. I can also lay down and close my eyes and pretend I'm somewhere peaceful and relaxing. The place I would imagine myself being in would be the beach during the day and it being empty and nice and breezy.

I know that having a healthy body helps people deal with stress better. I have already agreed to exercise more. I understand that good nutrition also makes a difference in my health and how well I deal with stress. The changes I am ready to make include eating a good breakfast, skipping fewer meals, and drinking fewer sodas and sugary drinks which that I have already started. Another thing that I have doing to get into a healthier shape is drinking much more water every day. I am trying to discipline myself in eating smaller portions. Also, even though it is hard but, I am trying my hardest not to greasy meals or snacks. I have been eating more fruits , vegetables , and whole grain foods as well. I downloaded an app on my phone that counts calories to see if it will help as well.

I know that people who get a good night's sleep do a better job of dealing with stress and do better in school. For me to get the sleep I need, I will try to go to bed at nine at night instead of eleven. I will consider avoiding caffeine at least six hours before bed, exercising five to six hours before bed. I also will finish my homework after exercising because I will be my calmest , clearest and most focused. I have been also showering an hour...
