1.1. BRAC Bank Limited– An Overview of the Organization

BRAC Bank Limited is a fully service oriented commercial bank. It has both local and International Institutional shareholder. BRAC Bank has been motivated to provide “best-in-the-class” services to its different variety of customers spread across the country under a non-line banking dais.

And also to identify and learn the process and polices that the Bank follows in terms of Recruiting their employee and provide training their employees and how they contribute in the development of the skills o their employee.
1.3 Scope of the Report:

Human Resources are essential and foundational to the growth and development of any organization and hence the ability to satisfy and retain quality and trained employee is vital. This term paper will give a clear idea about ‘Human Resources Department’ in the BRAC Bank Ltd.”How efficiently they utilize the resources? Does the training program that they organized is effective or not? What are the aims to develop training program?

To have answer o all these questions, it is tried to go through the BBL HR policies; with 30 minutes interview with the HR manager and had discussions with one o the current employee of BRAC Bank known by our one of the group member Waheduz Jaman Adnan.

1.4 Methodology:

In order to attain the objectives, collection of primary data is necessary .This data will be used to analyze the problem statement.

Primary data:

We visited “BRAC Bank Limited”. We collected necessary data by taking interview of the Sushmita M. Samad, Cluster and Branch Manager (First Assistant Vice President, Bashundhara Branch). These data are related to the recruitment and training methods and development of “BRAC Namk Limited”. We also used our knowledge and observation skill to collect other relevant data.

Secondary data:
We collected other data from different sources:
➢ Annual report of “BRAC Bank Limited”
➢ Advertisements of “BRAC Bank Limited”
➢ We acquired theoretical data from different books of Human Resource Management (mentioned on the reference part).
➢ Websites (mentioned on the reference part).

1.5 Limitations of the Report:

While doing our term paper we have faced some limitation for which it was very difficult for us to make our works elaborately and clearly. Some of our limitation given below:

a) Shortage of time period: This report is written with in a shorter period of time since many days have passed during the unusual strikes in our country. So the time constraint of the study hindering the course of vast area and time for preparing a report within the mentioned period is really difficult.

b) Busy working environment: The official managed to give interview only for 30 minutes to provide information because of her huge routine work. Even during this short period she had to attend at least 4 important calls from office. That is why we were not able to gather all information that we intended to know.

c) Secrecy of Management: There is some information which are confidential for collecting the data. So, some data could not been collected for confidentiality or secrecy of management such as their exact allocation of budget for...
