The teaching cycle is very important. The process has been put into place to give teachers a solid guide to manage their teaching from start to finish.
It is made up of five key areas. Identifying Needs, Designing and Planning, Delivering and Facilitating, Assessing and the fifth is evaluating.
I will try and review my role, my main responsibilities and boundaries in terms of the teaching cycle.

Teach and deliver the course and to keep the learners focused, motivated and on track. Above all else I would need to keep a register to keep a close eye on the learner’s attendance.
I would be responsible to maintain discipline and authority within the classroom/workshop. I have a duty of care to the learners and must be aware of any special needs.
My main boundaries would be to know at what point I would need to chase up absent learners and decide if I needed to refer them or not.
My main role in assessing would be to ensure all learners are at the correct stage of the course and they have learnt the skills and knowledge.
I would be responsible to assess and mark the learners work. There are different ways of achieving assessment at different stages of the learner’s course. I would be expected to give motivational advice and to direct learners back on track if needed. I would be responsible to keep a record of their progress.
