A well-built one will reduce the load on the people that normally have to do all the work. The University of Southern Philippines adopted new enrolment system for this school year 2010-2011.
Enrolment system is a good step for the school enrolment system is useful especially when the school retrieves the important information from the student. In the enrolment system, the school can trace what are the standings of the student .Lack of enrolment system in a school it can lead to chaos and troubles, the students will be confuse on what they should do and how they will do to be able to enroll it is extremely useful in the school in the way of making the process of enrolling much easy.
Janes (2008) stated that computers are extremely reliable device and very powerful calculators with some great accessories applications like word processing problem for all of business activities, regardless of size, computers have three advantages over other type of office equipment that process information because computer are faster, more accurate more economical.
Dioso (2010) stated that computer assist careful intelligent planning, organizing, actuating and controlling .This maybe observed from the past that they monitor production activities, solve scientific problem and help arrive in tentative answer to a multitude of involve conditions.
Gold Chager et al (2008) said that computer as a device for processing information knew computer plays a significant role in their lives, but few are aware of just how pervasive role is.
Database
A database is an organized collection of facts and information. An organizations database can contain facts and information on customers, employees, inventory, competitors, sales information and much more.
In creating a database record system, a database system is essential; it is very important part of the proposed software.
Database management system (DBMS) has replaced the file system data management by having a pool of data that can be shared by multiple application programs and users concurrently. DBMS has eliminated the isolation of data at different location, data redundancy and provided ad hoc enquiry capability by using structure query language (SQL) – a universal non-procedural language that used to retrieve and manipulate data in database system efficiently and easily without having to write sophisticated computer program. DBMS also provide logical and physical data independence, so that changing of data structure or application program will not affect one another. 
A database is a very important element of the system for saving and making the software more productive and profitable, making it easier to retrieve data as needed and for backing up of vital data to be much easier.
