I think that this was the significant event in this ministry. This was what he brought to the Jews, as he taught them to be a follower of Jesus. “He emphasizes the relation to all kinds of other people, to money, and to life in general. The Perean Ministry ends with Jesus temporarily leaving Perea to go and raise Lazarus from the dead.†(Battle, 2006) The next significant even to me in the Galilean Ministry was The Passion Week of Jesus. “The Passion is the Christian theological term used for the events and suffering-physical, spiritual, and mental-of Jesus in the hours prior to and including his trial and execution by crucifixion. The Crucifixion of Jesus is an event central to the Christian beliefs.†(Wikipedia, 2004)This to me was an extremely important event to the Jews. Jesus was crucified for them, and died for them. Since Jesus taught them to be followers of Jesus, and then he was crucified for them, this is extremely important for the followers of Jesus.
