I did not believe him. There was no such thing as time machine. I followed him to one room in the Time Power Shop. I saw a chair there like at the dentist and a gigantic machine beside the chair. He asked me again whether I really want to sell my time. I laughed at him and said that he was crazy. The only thing that I think was the money he offered for sitting on that chair.
I sat on the chair. Above my head there is a machine like in the surgery room. He put many colourful wires all around my body and put something like helmet on my head. Suddenly, a bright light come from above. I felt an electric shock which made unconscious. After a while, I opened my eyes and felt dizzy. I did not saw that man anymore. I walked out the room and saw the salesman was standing at the cashier place. I saw he was busying put the money in a silver briefcase.
“You can take all your money and here. I have bought your time about 50 years”. He said. I looked at him with unbelievable face. What? I actually didn’t understand what he was about. “Is he insane to give me a lot of money just for sitting on that so called time machine?” ah!! What ever! I took it and left that place. I could enjoy myself with the money.
I took the briefcase and went out. When I wanted to open the door, a man who looked messy ran towards the cashier and asked to buy time! I did not understand why everybody was going crazy over time? Then, out of the blue, I found Jessica at the nearby shop. I called for her but her just ignoring me, like always she did. I walked heading her and suddenly, my briefcase was snatched by a boy and he ran away. I tried to chase the boy but I couldn’t do that. I fell on the floor. Everybody was staring at me. Jessica was coming to me and gives me a help to stand. She said, “Uncle, are you alright?”
“What? Uncle? I am only 20. How could she call me uncle? Is she blind? Then, I saw my face at the shop’s mirror. “Who is this old man? What? Is this me? How could I turn to be like this?” now I realized that everything the salesman said was true. I wanted to buy all my time back! But I didn’t know how. I realized that youthfulness and health are the best wealth for us. I should enjoy and appreciate life. But it was too late for me.
