Most universities talk about "foreign language", they mean a language other than the main one spoken in your home, or other than the main language that most of your subjects were taught in when you went to school. To be considered a foreign language, the language has to be a language used by humans - so it can't be a computer language like C++ or Java. In this research project, courseware is regarded in a wider sense as an educational package including a number of lessons or courses appended with activities or exercises, teacher's/ learner's manual or handouts and informative videos on learning the Spanish language.
Teaching courseware is essential and will give a great help to provide support to teachers when teaching. Instructors and learners believed that using multimedia elements such as graphics, audio, video and animations, classroom lessons become visually more attractive and engaging in the teaching- learning process or encounter of the instructor and students. Such a quality is thought to add to the motivation level of students. Further, it is believed that through the use of courseware, teachers will have resources that are tailored to their needs. However, since the utilization of courseware is something novel to some institutions like here in Sacred Heart College , it will require or it is expected for the instructor to invest time and energy in first acquainting themselves to new technology and then to see to the compatibility of this new technology to curriculum and syllabus needs.
