These pollutants anyone can get and are used often on farms to protect their crops. These can also be used in the common household to get rid of bees or flies. Not only is air pollution harmful but it is also effecting the layers of the atmosphere.
The fossil fuel emissions and release of pesticides into our atmosphere are affecting the layers of the atmosphere in different ways. When they are released they both have to rise through the atmosphere to reach the ozone layer. The carbon dioxide gases released from the fossil fuel emissions cause a lot of harm on the environment and contribute to 70% of the greenhouse gas emissions in 2011 from electricity, transportation, and industries. The pesticides affect more of the lower layer of the atmosphere where there are more insects. These are created to do certain things such as repel animals and insects or kill them. Rather they affect the air that both humans and animals breathe and they affect the lives of the animals that help to regulate the ecosystems natural cycle. These also attach themselves to dust particles and can travel, this gives them the chance to attach to other chemicals and create a more harmful compound for the environment. These gasses also contribute to greenhouse gasses in different ways.
Greenhouse gasses are gasses that help to trap heat into the atmosphere. These gasses are carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, and fluorinated gasses. These gasses affect the atmosphere in great ways. They thicken a blanket around the planet and cause the earth to become even warmer than it already is. Each of these gasses remain in the atmosphere for different periods of time therefore causing more problems in some areas than in others. The global warming of the planet resulting from this would harm many of the species found. This would harm the natural ecosystem, the amount of water, animals in specific environments, and much more because of the changes. This would harm animals who cannot evolve quick enough or are not able to migrate to a more suitable environment. Plants world suffer in that they would have a difficult time thriving because their environments would not be suitable. People would have to adapt but in the ways that people are able to live in different environments they would still be able to survive unless it got worse. The pollutants do not stop with air but also affect water.
Water has many different pollutants two are toxic chemicals such as runoff, and chemical dumping, and another is litter. These have different affects on the environment but both can be extreme. The toxic chemicals in the water decrease the water quality and can harm the wildlife that lives within it and...
