If he chooses to help the army by providing different services, that would be the best decision he could have made. By providing services to the army, it will not only help the army but also benefit him. He could make thousandsâ€™ of dollars by providing a particular service to the army. For example growing a farm which will be used as the food source for soldiers etc. Thus, he will be able to live a better life with his family and his parents will also be proud of him at the same time.
Q5) Which alternative is the best? Explain why. A5) The best alternative is to provide service to the military. This will indeed keep him safe and happy with his family. And at the same time he would not be only helping the army but also making his parents proud of him. If successful, he could make thousands of dollars that could help him and his family to live a better life.
Q6) Reconsider your answer in question #1. Should you change your opinion? A6) Now that I have come up with better opinion, I will like to change my answer for question #1. Instead of not helping the army fight, I now think that he should help the army by providing services to the military. This will also help the military and prevent him from being a â€œsoldierâ€ and eventually getting killed.

A7) (a) The government should not force him to join the army.
(b) The Government should respect his decision and should understand that George has a family to look out for and his life to live. The government should not be forcing people who are not willing to join or cannot join because of their family issues.
Q8) If you were Shirley, what would you want George to do? Explain Why? A8) If I was Shirley, Georgeâ€™s wife, I would not want him to join the war. We were newly married and barely started our love life. Thus if he joins the war, I might lose him resulting in impossible to live a comfortable life.

A1) George should obey the colonelâ€™s order. If he made the decision to join the army then he should obey all its orders and rules. His disobedience could result in their armyâ€™s defeat or loss. If he did not want to take the risk or he shouldnâ€™t have joined the army at first place. But because he did, he should be prepared for this.
Q2) How should the army punish George if he disobeyed the colonelâ€™s order? A2) George should be suspended or jailed for few days for his disobedience. He should not be killed because it basically murder, killing your own teammate. Because of his disobedience his military could have faced fatal loss.
